Why Onigiri? Here in the Philippines, rice is one of our staple foods and we hope to bring a new and unique way of enjoying it! Onigiriya's main product will be a selection of hand-formed, fluffy rice balls (onigiri). The basic components are nutrient-filled Japanese rice, salt, and nori (seaweed) PLUS delicious fillings and toppings of different kinds. It’s made to be easy-to-eat, compact and healthy - a complete meal in one piece of Rice Ball. It is simple in taste and is a perfectly balanced nutritious food. With difference to machine pressed or molded rice balls, we gently hand-form our rice to achieve the delicious fluffy onigiri. Our onigiri's are made by hand, one by one, into delicate triangles, just like how traditional Japanese mothers used to make them.
